The Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ – A Mercy to Mankind

Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, dear brothers and sisters,

In this post, let us reflect on the blessed life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the last and final messenger of Allah, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds. His life is a complete model for every human being — as a son, a husband, a leader, a friend, and a servant of Allah.

1. Early Life in Makkah (570 CE)

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was born in 570 CE in the noble tribe of Quraysh in Makkah.
(a) His father Abdullah passed away before his birth, and his mother Aminah died when he was just 6.
(b)He was raised first by his grandfather Abdul Muttalib, and later by his uncle Abu Talib.
Even in childhood, he was known as Al-Ameen (The Trustworthy) due to his honest and kind nature.

2. Marriage to Khadijah (RA)

At the age of 25, he married Khadijah bint Khuwaylid (RA), a wealthy businesswoman who was impressed by his honesty and character.
Their marriage was a source of deep love and support. She was the first to accept Islam.
Together, they had six children, including Fatimah (RA), the mother of the Prophet’s descendants.
